So on the same page here...gorgeous photos and it was nice to feel a crisp breeze and smell the firewood if only for a fleeting, imaginary minute!
Oh wow... I am SO ready for fall. It can't get here fast enough! I may have grown up in the south, but this heat is NOT for me! LOL Those pictures make me want to bake pumpkin bread!
I'm thinking of fall, too! Specifically, leaf peeping and apple cider doughnuts. NOM.
Jessica--thanks! I want to smell the firewood, too. mmmmm.
April, if you can't stand the heat, you moved to the right place. At least most of the time, hehe.
Kate--the doughnuts! Yes...
These pictures are definitely the way I feel. Fall cant get her soon enough. Those orange trees are beautiful and I wish I had a crate of those Honey Crisp apples.
I think everyone is ready for fall. :-)
Great photo shots....
Have a beautiful day
I so cannot wait for fall! My favorite time of the year here in Boston. These photos are gorgeous!
who said apple cider doughnuts? oh man. we have bad humidity and even worse dew point over here by the ocean. everyone thinks we are cooler, not so.
I love fall in boston and nyc.
I do miss the bushels of apples and the fresh cider. Growing up in Michigan we had the best apples! And there's nothing like going to the pumpkin patch and picking your pumpkin right off the vine.
But I'm not ready for fall yet. I like the heat and humidity! That's why I moved here, been in Florida for 20 years.
Love your photos!! Very nice.
Beautiful photos, Elle! Summer's my fave but these pictures make me feel okay about the impending change :)
Awesome pics--especially those trees...sigh. You are making me drool for fall and summer just came the beginning of Aug! What a weird year.
Lovely photo's Elle and I love the new look to your blog :)
Thanks so much, everyone! We actually do have some leaves changing (since June!!) because it was so rainy and cold at the beginning of summer. Won't be long now!
thanks for stopping by!
ELLE!! WHEN DID YOU CHANGE YOUR BLOG DOMAIN???? I've missed you AND so many of your posts :-(
I miss the fall!!! :-(
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS! Fall in New England is amazing.
Oooooh I have fall on my mind as well! Can't wait for orchards, cozy sweaters and pumpkin desserts! Great photos!
Elle- It has been WAAAAYYY too long since I last stopped by to say hello! Your site looks incredible, and although I'm not quite ready to welcome fall I did enjoy your beautiful photos. Hope that all is well!
Best,
Emily

me too ready for fall!! hehe love the beutiful shots of the fruits!! my first visit here and loving every bit of it!
cheers and have a great day!!
after this summer, i am definitely ready for fall. down the road there's an orchard and i'm counting the days until they open their doors for the season. nothing like new england in the fall.
i was just thinking the other day how much i'm looking foward to the autumn and apple picking. comfort foods like soups and stews and pies were always my favorite things to create in the kitchen anyway.
i'm awful with geography and such but is it already autumn for you in New England?!
Wow what beautiful pictures!!

Fall is my favorite season, but I am not ready for it yet. Summer was too short. Great photos!
Thank you so much, everyone!
Oh, apples--how do I love thee! And fall--I love thee even more! Mouthwatering photos:)
Thank you, Jenni!
I wanna be in that apple store! Beautiful pics.
I grew up in the town that this apple orchard is in! It has one of the best views in the state. Or at least I think so!
MLE, it DOES have one of the best views, I agree! We were just there this past weekend. New owners, some changes, and it's even better than it was before, if that's possible.
Looking at these photos makes me want to move back up to NH
